How to Start the Conversation
I’ve never attempted to talk to any family members about mental health because I don't have a clue how or where to begin, and like most Asian families, they don't like discussing emotions.  They do tell me to not put so much stress on myself and to relax, so I do believe that they do understand a bit about the importance of mental health - but not necessarily the anxiety or depressive experiences I've gone through.

We created infographics designed to assist in starting the difficult process of how to start the conversation with family members, navigating through the obstacles, and incorporating terms that may help further their understanding.
